

DEIF AGC 150
The DEIF AGC 150 Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) controller automatically transfers the power supply when it detects a failure. It handles all types of power sources, and the user selects how the controller should respond to a failure. Because it can control up to three breakers, the AGC 150 suits a wide range of emergency power solutions.
The AGC 150 is a compact, all-in-one controller. Each unit contains all the necessary 3-phase measuring circuits. Values and alarms appear on a sunlight-readable LCD display, and operators can control the breakers directly from the display unit or connect to an HMI/SCADA system through the communication options.
Breaker Configurations:
- One breaker, 2 positions (no neutral) — for mains-mains, mains-generator, generator-mains and generator-generator pairs.
- One breaker, 3 positions — adds a neutral position.
- Two breakers — the controller changes supply automatically if the primary source fails.
- Three breakers — two sources and two load points with a bus tie breaker, suited to medium-voltage ATS systems such as data centres.
Transfer and Priority:
- Open, open delayed, open in-phase, closed, and closed transition with adjustable overlap time.
- Source priority: prioritise S1, prioritise S2, shift priority at blackout, prioritise both, or cyclic mode.
- Elevator switch, external control of the mains breaker, and manual close if a source fails.
Measurement and I/O:
- 100 to 690 V AC selectable, 3.5 to 75 Hz, voltage accuracy ±1 % of nominal from 10 to 75 Hz.
- CT -/1 A or -/5 A selectable with 4 CT inputs; current accuracy ±1 %.
- Selectable AC configuration: 3-phase/3-wire, 3-phase/4-wire, 2-phase/3-wire or 1-phase/2-wire.
- 12 digital inputs, 2 x 3 A and 10 x 0.5 A DC outputs, and 4 configurable analogue inputs.
Software and Interface:
- Stand-alone or Core software package.
- M-Logic PLC logic (20 lines), built-in test sequences, and an emulation tool for training and commissioning.
- Counters for breaker operations, kWh and kvarh; event logs up to 500 entries; password-protected setup.
- 240 x 128 px monochrome graphical display, six lines of 25 characters, five-key navigation, multi-language support.
- 20 configurable graphical screens; parameters can be changed at the display unit.
Protections: A broad protection set including reverse power (32R), fast over-current (50P), over-current (50TD), over/under-voltage (59 / 27P), over/under-frequency (81O / 81U), unbalanced voltage and current (47 / 46), overload (32F), earth and neutral inverse time over-current (50G / 50N), directional over-current (67), sequence protections (46I2, 59U0, 50I0) and breaker failure monitoring (52BF).
Communication: Two RS-485 ports (port 1 isolated, 9600 to 115200 baud) for Modbus RTU, PLC and SCADA; RJ45 auto-detecting 10/100 Mbit Ethernet for Modbus, NTP time synchronisation and the PC utility software; and a USB-B service port.
Ratings: 12 or 24 V DC nominal supply (6.5 to 36 V DC operating), 5 W typical and 12 W maximum. Operating temperature -40 to +70 °C, storage -40 to +85 °C, operating altitude 0 to 4000 m with derating. IP65 front when panel-mounted with the supplied gasket, IP20 on the terminal side. Installation CAT. III 600 V, pollution degree 2.
Mechanical: 233.3 x 173.3 x 44.7 mm with a 218.5 x 158.5 mm panel cut-out (±0.3 mm), maximum panel thickness 4.5 mm, weight 0.79 kg.
