The PMC-340-A6 is CET's latest three-phase energy meter for the low-voltage power and energy metering market, featuring DIN-Rail mounting, high-accuracy true RMS measurements and a large, easy-to-read backlit LCD display. It complies with IEC 62053-21:2020 & AS 62053.21:2023 Class 0.5 for 100A direct connected input, and IEC 62053-22:2020 & AS 62053.22:2023 Class 0.5S for CT input.

Key Features:

• Multifunction true RMS measurements: Uln, Ull, Current, Phase Angle, calculated In, P/Q/S, PF, dPF and Frequency, with per-phase and total kWh & kvarh (Imp./Exp./Tot./Net), kVAh and 4-quadrant kvarh.
• Power quality analysis: Voltage and current THD, TOHD, TEHD and individual harmonics up to the 31st order, plus unbalance, K-Factor, Crest Factor and TDD.
• Flexible current input: Direct connected input up to 100A without an external CT, or a CT input model for larger systems.
• Multi-Tariff TOU: Two TOU schedules, each with 12 seasons, 20 daily profiles of 14 periods, 90 holidays or alternate days and 5 tariffs.
• Data Recording: 16MB on-board non-volatile memory with two data recorders of up to 16 parameters, recording intervals from 1 second to 40 days.
• Monitoring & Alarms: 20 user-programmable setpoints covering voltage, current, power, temperature and DI status, plus a 128-event SOE log time-stamped to ±1ms.
• WAGES Ready: One self-excited digital input for status monitoring and pulse counting (Water, Air, Gas, Electric, Steam).
• Tamper Detection: Built-in magnetic tamper sensors with alarm events logged to the SOE.
• Demands: Demand and max. demand for Current, P/Q/S, Uln, Ull and Temperature, with Max./Min. logging and 12 months of monthly energy records.
• Communications: Optically isolated RS-485 port (1,200-38,400 bps) with Modbus RTU protocol, 3-level password security and a battery-backed RTC.
• System Integration: Supported by PecStar® iEMS and easily integrated into other automation or SCADA systems via Modbus RTU.
