Milesgo HMI1001-IAQ

The Milesgo HMI1001-IAQ is a gateway-type indoor air quality sensor that monitors five air quality indicators in real time: indoor temperature, relative humidity, CO2 concentration, PM2.5 mass concentration and VOC concentration level. Uniquely, it combines sensing with a full protocol gateway, so the same ceiling-mounted device both measures the space and integrates the equipment serving it.

Gateway Capability:

• Three server roles at once: converts simultaneously to a BACnet server, Modbus server and OPC UA server, with open data interfaces for third-party integration.
• Upstream collection: one RS485 port collects data from other controllers over Modbus and BACnet, so the sensor doubles as an expansion point for nearby devices.
• DDC integration: pairs with Direct Digital Control systems to automate fan start/stop, fresh air supply, dehumidification and temperature control.
• Capacity: up to 256 points allocated dynamically, and up to 32 supported devices. BACnet AI, AO, AV, BI, BO, BV, MI, MO and MV each provide 256 registers; Modbus provides 256 coil, input status, holding and input registers.
• Cloud and database: MQTT upload to the cloud plus external storage in MySQL, SQL Server or InfluxDB.

Configuration and Interface:

• Configuration screens are built in X2View software, which runs on Windows 7, 8, 10, 11 and Windows Server 2008/2016.
• A built-in web server means no client software is needed — view and control from a computer, phone, iPad or any browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox, Opera).
• Graphical, JS and PLC hybrid programming, PID control, and triggers for conversion between any two protocols.
• Timetables for scheduling equipment start/stop times and setpoints.
• Real-time curves, pie charts and ring charts.
• Alerts via WeChat, DingTalk, SMS platforms and email.

Hardware: Linux on a single-core 800 MHz CPU with 512 MB RAM and 8 GB flash. One 10/100 Mbit Ethernet port and one electromagnetically isolated RS485 serial port. Powered from AC/DC 12-24 V at 6 W.

Mechanical and Environment: Ceiling-mounted ABS housing, 130 mm diameter x 40 mm high, weighing 200 g. Operating temperature -20 to +70 °C (storage -40 to +85 °C); operating humidity 20 to 90 % non-condensing (storage 15 to 95 %).

Certification: ISO 9001 (SGS), CE, BACnet Testing Laboratories (BTL) and OPC Foundation.
